Merry Christmas 2023

Today is a music day. To read and hear the song, click here.

Sorry this didn’t get posted Saturday. I had technical difficulties. I should be back on track Tuesday morning.

Man, I don’t know about you, but this year flew by for us! It has been a real roller coaster of a year. It seemed like we took two steps forward and one step back — except for the days when we took three steps back.

I know Pastor Steve, Adam. Miss Priss, and I are exactly where God wants us to be. (Yes, even the kitten is where she is supposed to be.)

But I, for one, sure could use a breath of Heaven right now.

Think about Mary that night over 2,000 years ago. She had her battles to get there — even before she had the battle of childbirth.

Every time Mary is mentioned in the Christmas story, what shines through is her faith and her submission. This teenager from Nazareth had to have been saying, “Father, help me.”

God wants us to call on Him in our desperate situations — and not so desperate ones. He will be there for us.

I hope the song speaks to you and encourages you this season.

Next week, we are going to do the December newsletter. Then we will start the new theme for 2024. I am looking forward to it.
