Happy Easter 2024!

Today is a music day.

Crowned or Crucified
Vocalist: Elaine Guthals
Keyboard: Chris Vieth

This weekend we celebrate the completion of Jesus’ earthly ministry. Jesus willingly went to the cross to die. It is only through the shedding of His blood that our sins could be forgiven.

But it didn’t end there. Three days later Jesus arose from the grave. God’s power restored Him to life.

Death showed us that Jesus was Man. Resurrection showed us that Jesus was God.

The question becomes, what are we going to do about Him? Are we going to believe Jesus is God or just a man?

Our answer is important. It determines whether we are a sheep or goat for eternity. We not only want to be a sheep, but we also want to be a true sheep. We want to hear and listen to Jesus’ voice.

The song, Crowned or Crucified, tells us we have to make a choice. We need to make our choice before the Day of the Lord comes.

We’ve completed looking at Revelation 1 and determining what the unregenerated world is. The Easter series helped show us what we need to do about our lost condition.

For the next devotion, we are going to look at the March newsletter. Then we are going to start on Revelation 2.

Things have been interesting here at Seeking God with Elaine. It is springtime, so all the fronts have been going through my head as usual.

Things are growing and changing here, too. We are looking to God for where He wants Pastor Steve (and I) to minister. We are also in the process of trying to buy a house. Hopefully, that will mean a move within the next month or two.

So, let’s celebrate Jesus’ accomplishment of the Plan of Salvation and then continue learning about the Day of the Lord.
