Why We Should Know God’s Reckless Love

Today is a music day.

Today has been an off day for me. I woke up not feeling well.

When I finally stopped coughing, my get up and go had got up and went, and I didn’t have the get up and go to get up and go after it.

So, I didn’t get done any of the writing I needed to do.

But I know that even on worse days than this, I have a loving Heavenly Father Who loves me even more than I can imagine.

It isn’t about feeling that love. It is about knowing it is there.

Feelings can be so fickle. They can be dependent on our circumstances — if we get up on the right side or wrong side of bed or if we don’t get up at all.

But Jehovah isn’t interested in  physical, worldly feelings. He is interested in the spiritual, heart-level knowledge that His grace is sufficient for us.

How do we get to that? Walking with Him through the good times and the bad. Relying on Him when we now there is nothing we can do.

Knowing that we can always trust in His promises — a big one being that He will never leave us.

This is one of the first songs I recorded to post, and it has been a while since I have heard it. I hope that it reminds you that, no matter what our feelings are, Jehovah will always kick down whatever He needs to in order to get to us.
