Hey, guys. I am going to break into our regularly scheduled devotion and just talk to you today.
I had some tests run Friday, and they determined I am having seizures in my brain. I don’t know what all this entails yet — except I can’t drive for six months!!!!!
I just wanted to tell you all so that, if some day you don’t get a devotion, you’ll know why.
I may have to change some things in order to take better care of myself. I may start doing shorter devotions. I may have more music days. I may go to a five-day schedule instead of a seven-day schedule.
Or do a combination thereof.
Pray for me as I do all that has to be done. Pray for my doctor so that diagnoses and treatment are correct. Pray for Adam as he takes care of me and goes to get his driver’s license. Pray for all those whom I will have to ask for help.
Bottom line is God has this. Wherever He decides I am going to end up with this, the beginning, middle, and end is with Him.
I talked with Pastor Chris this morning. He reminded me of the verse that says “As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the LORD surrounds his people both now and forevermore” (Ps. 125: 2 NIV). He has me and Adam surrounded.
God has this. This has always been in His plan for me. We’ll work the plan together.
Okay, you do get a song today. Master, the Tempest Is Raging works.
