Trusting God in the Even If

Today is a music day. To read and hear the song, click here.

I got good news at the doctor’s office today. The MRI did not find anything seriously wrong with me.

Unfortunately, it didn’t find out what was wrong with me. The next step is to wear a monitor to see if it can record an actual seizure. That should give them the information they need to know.

So, as promised, today is a music day. The song is Mercy Me’s Even If.

When I was having the MRI, the technician asked what type of music I wanted played. I said Christian music.

The first song talked about God being a healer. This was the second song that played.

God can move mountains, but He doesn’t always choose to do so. Just because He doesn’t doesn’t mean He doesn’t care.

He saved the three Hebrew boys through the fire. He saved Daniel though the lion’s den. He saved Paul through a shipwreck.

Even if that isn’t His choice, God is right there with us. He holds us in the palm of His hand. He is surrounding us with His love.

Right before I got out of the car to go into the appointment, I said it is well with my soul. Does that mean I haven’t been shedding tears lately? No. I have.

It means I am putting my trust in the God Who is in control.
