Saying goodbye to a loved one is hard. Even when you know it is coming, even when you know they no longer have pain, even when you know they are with the Lord, it is hard to give them up.
I had to give up my Springfield Dad today. Forty years ago, he “adopted” me. He has loved me and Adam, and we have loved him back.
I’ve been trying to finish up my devotion, but I just can’t focus. So, I am going to leave you with a song.
