One thing I am very thankful for is that Adam and I belong to a praying church. We have prayer breakfast every Tuesday morning.
For years, we had prayer meeting every Wednesday night. Starting last night, we switched prayer meeting to Sunday night.
I am sure the decision could have been made to end it. There was no talk of doing that here.
Sunday Night Bible Study was switched to Wednesday night, and prayer meeting was switched to Sunday night.
Second Chronicles 7: 14 says, “If My people, which are called by My name …” God’s people. Those who have accepted Jesus as their Savior.
Not the ones who are needing salvation. Those who already have it.
We need to pray. We need to commune with God.
Whether we finish out the verse or not, we need to spend time with our God. We shouldn’t have to want the good stuff as reward. We should want to spend time with God.
