Go Light Your World

Today is a music day.

Sorry, guys. All three of us are battling the change of the season. Sinus trouble has officially started.

I haven’t gotten the writing done that I needed to do, Therefore, we are going to have a music day today.

Pastor Steve recently asked that I sing Go Light Your World. He is preaching through Philippians, and it went well with his sermon.

Pastor Steve said that salvation can be compared to a huge gift that has to be unwrapped for our thorough enjoyment. Paul was encouraging the Philippians — and us — to develop to work out — but not work for — salvation.

Paul said that we should have the mind of Christ. We are to work out our salvation.

In other words, we have to work it out so that our attitude resembles that of Christ’s.

How we work out our salvation is to navigate the Sanctification Road.

We are called to be blameless light bearers. Pastor Steve said that how we are to reach others and to community gives impact to those who we are to reaching out and touching for the Lord. We are to love on them even if we don’t agree with their lifestyle, so they feel like they can come to Jesus to be saved.

Paul said that we are to shine our lights as stars whose light penetrates spiritual darkness of a perverted world.

Unsure if you can witness to others? Pastor Steve said that a little flicker of light makes a big difference to people.
