Faith is the belief that the doctrines stated in God’s Word are true, even if we do not understand all aspects of them.
- Jesus is not just the Savor of Israel. He is the Savior of all people who have put their faith and trust in Him (The Faithful Watchers: Simeon).
- Faith is the certainty of something even though we can’t see it for ourselves. Being allowed to change our minds to have God become our Sovereign Lord right before we are to start serving the sentence is sight, not faith (How Do We Escape the Fury of Hell?).
- We access this grace through faith. Because we have faith and believe, we gain the forgiveness of our sins (How Do We Escape the Fury of Hell?).
- It is only through His gifts of grace and faith that we have spiritual life (Is the Old or New Covenant Better?).
- Our profession of faith in the Sovereign God has to be genuine (How Do Disciples Grow?).
- We have to have faith to please God (Why Should We Seek God?).
- When we do make a profession of faith, we can’t keep on doing what we know is wrong. Oh, Satan will try to get us to think we can (How Should We Seek God?)
- If keep on-purpose sinning, that means our profession of faith is suspect. (It is only God’s job to decide if it is or isn’t.) (How Should We Seek God?)
- Those who haven’t made a profession of faith will still be spiritually dead (How Do We Escape the Fury of Hell?).
- We have step out in faith. We have to live with our trust fully in the Sovereign God, even if we don’t understand (How Do We Escape the Fury of Hell?).
- Our faith tells us God is with us (The Armor of Faith and Peace).
- Being rooted and grounded only comes as our faith is strengthened. Our faith is strengthened as we grow in knowledge of God (How Do Disciples Grow?).
- When things are in turmoil, we have to fall back on our character. We have to stand rock firm on our faith (Why Joseph?).
- Peace is a contentment that only faith in Jesus can give (The Armor of Faith and Peace).
- Our faith is our protection in times of trials (The Armor of Faith and Peace).
- Our faith has to be proven. We have to show we are rock solid – or I should say Rock solid. We have to prove we have a heart faith, not a head faith (The Armor of Faith and Peace).
- We can have peace because we put our faith and trust in the Prince of Peace (No Christmas Peace).
