Today is a music day.
This has been a day that Pastor Steve has waited to happen for a long time. He has known for years that God was calling him to be a pastor.
But Pastor Steve did what most of us mostly do. He ran.
Late last year, Pastor Steve decided to stop running. And God blessed him.
Almost immediately, God took him out of the church for which he was doing pulpit fill and brought him to this church. Today, they called Pastor Steve as their pastor.
So, we are moving from a church that is home to another church that is home.
I don’t know how this will impact my devotions. I know I will be helping the church get restructured. I will be teaching a Sunday School class and leading the music in worship.
But my priority is putting devotions out for you to read. God hasn’t told me He is changing that.
Yes, that means I won’t be teaching my Ladies any longer. That is sad.
But God is calling us to a wonderful place with wonderful people. He is letting us help Him watch over a church that has been struggling with hurt.
From the get go, God has been telling Pastor Steve to just go there and love on them. God is a God of love.
Many times, we don’t think we are worthy of love, especially God’s. With Jesus as our Savior, we are.
