Blessed
Blessed means that the disciple has been perfected: “But blessed is the one who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in him” (Jer. 17: 7 NIV) (Are Disciples to be Docile?).
- We have to be blessed to be sheep on the right (Will Being Kind to Others Will Get Us into Heaven?).
- It wasn’t their actions that put them on the right. It was being blessed by the Father (Will Being Kind to Others Will Get Us into Heaven?).
- Being blessed is all about loving and obeying God (Are Disciples to be Docile?).
- When we are blessed, things become easier. When things are easier, it is easier to be obedient (Isn’t It Impossible to be Obedient?).
- For the disciple, perfection is holy, sanctified, and righteous (How Do Disciples Crave Righteousness?).
- As we grow in our relationship with God, we are blessed (How Are Disciples Pure in Heart?)

- We are only blessed when we ABCD (Will Being Kind to Others Will Get Us into Heaven?).
- “Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city” (Rev. 22: 14 NKJV).
- If we want to be blessed, we have to live righteously. We have to be set apart and holy in order to be blessed (Blessings, Not Curses)
- Submitting to Him and believing He inspired the Scriptures (so that we have to follow them) means we are blessed (Who Wrote the Scriptures?).
- God says that forgiveness has a reason. It is so we can be blessed (Mt. 5: 7) (How Do We Forgive Others?).

Cursed
Not submitting to Him because we don’t want to do what He calls us to makes us cursed (Who Wrote the Scriptures?).
