All we have to do is ABCD to gain access.

  • God has made Himself very accessible to us. He was the one Who devised the plan of salvation to restore His relationship with mankind (What Are Heavenly Places?).
  • It is only through Jesus that we even have access to God. If Jesus hadn’t paid the price for our sins with His blood — and we hadn’t accepted the gift of salvation — we wouldn’t have access to God. We access this grace through faith (Is Thankfulness Different from Praise?).
  • We still have to access God’s grace by asking Him to forgive us. My ladies and I were talking about needing to do that daily (How Are Grace, Redemption, and Forgiveness Connected?)
  • Jesus also wants complete access to our hearts. He doesn’t want to leave any inch where Satan can worm his way in to derail us (The Fullness of God’s Love).
  • God allows us to worship Him, but we only worship God because He allows it. He has given us grace so we can. He wants to have the connections and relationship with us. He wants us to worship Him even though He doesn’t need us. We worship God in a variety of ways. We sing and play instruments. We pray. We fellowship with others. There is just one thing required when we worship God — faith. We must approach God in faith, giving Him the honor that is due the Sovereign Lord (Should We Rewrite History?).
  • We have access to God by His Word. The Spirit comes into play when we pray to God. We gain access to Sovereign God by the reconciliation He devised. We access the peace provided by our Lord and Savior. We do this through following the promptings of our Guide (How Do We Gain Access to God?).
  • We have access to the peace that non-believers don’t have because our trust is in the Creator of the universe. The One who knows the past, present, and future has us by the right hand. God’s got us so that we can rest in Him (How Can We Find Peace?).
  • I like to think of it as there is no floor in heaven. If heaven doesn’t have a floor, there is no barrier between God and us. God has immediate access to us. He can see and hear all of us. He sees us, so He can shine on us (How Can God’s Face Shine on Us?).
