- It was considered a sabbath day, in which there were no labors as they were called to a convocation (Num. 28: 26).
- A meal was offered to the poor, stranger, and Levites.
- Requirements are described in Leviticus 23: 10-11.
- God sent the Holy Spirit to come upon the disciples (Ac. 2: 1-4) during Pentecost.
